Over all I was there for the camping and fishing which was awesome so I was, for the most part able to overlook the disgusting showers and fish cleaning house. I've heard that the showers are getting a makeover so let's see how they are when I get up there this year.
Pretty nice campground. My only issue was there is only one small hiking loop connected to the campground. For people with boats this is a great place, they have harbors around the campgrounds.
Run down, dirty, disgusting. What else can you say? My family has been coming here for 20 years and now, NEVER AGAIN. They didn't inform us the showers were out of order for all of 2016, the bathrooms have the same feminine napkins and such in the men's room bathroom garbage that have been there since we arrived 6 days ago, the point is overgrown, the bench at the point has rotted so bad its falling apart and this whole campground is RUN DOWN. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
Great campground. The bay was really nice to leave the boat at night and the camp site #17 had a ton of room for the truck and boat trailer. Bathrooms were clean and the showers are new. Very quiet at night and friendly summer camp watchers.
Perfect location. Starts you out right in the middle of the lake
The campground was what I remembered dozens of years ago. Peaceful and relaxing. Judging from the way the guest host keeps his camp it's no wonder why the showers are absolutely filthy. Down right disgusting. The fish cleaning house was also not very well kept. Very filthy. They had maintenance people come in to mow and pull out overstuffed cans of fish carcasses from the fish house.
