Found adventure north 2 yrs ago..on the internet...stayed a week at this great resort..great cabin.. hospitality was great. Owners of resort were wonderful...spent my summers growing up at leech lake...at a resort called. Loe's..which is on the other side of lake...its been two yrs...since we have been at adventure north...our cabin is booked for a 10 day stay...cant wait for sept...northwoods ..cabin...and fishing
I've been bringing friends, and family up to Adventure North for ice fishing, and summer fishing for over 10 years now. I've stayed in every cabin except for the Beach house. They are all comfortable, well stocked, and clean. Cedars is a log cabin and great for big groups, but Heritage is my new fave, (because there's a working sauna downstairs!) It's a great resort on a world class lake. The new office is great with some fun clothing, hats, and branded souvenirs to take home, and the covered harbor is the best one I've seen on a Minnesota Lake, with great rental boats, fish houses, gas on site, bait, lures, maps, fish cleaning service...the owners (Steve and Shay) are incredible hosts, giving you the space you need to relax, or do your own thing, but always there when you need them. Super helpful, and insightful about the surrounding area and a lake that deserves respect. Always a fun time. Highly recommended.
Amazing place. We stayed in March so obviously did a lot of ice fishing. Owner was incredibly nice and even drove out on the lake to show us where the good spots were. Even cleaned all of our fish afterwards.
Cabin was amazing. We went for a bachelor party and it easily fit all 11 guys. Plenty of space in the kitchen. Leech lake has a some great views. I strongly recommend this resort.
Just checked it out for a potential future stay, don't even know if it will work for our situation yet but it did seem very nice. Since there weren't 30 other cabins there like most places on the lake, it was nice and quiet.
Adventure North was downright amazing. The pool right on our front porch was well maintained, and the owners of the property were both friendly and helpful with anything I brought to them. The rooms were wonderfully put together and leech lake is a blast for anybody!
